Teachers, would you like to arrange for an author visit to your classroom?
I love visiting 3rd grade classrooms in the Greater Boston/Metro West cities and towns to talk about Norumbega Park!
Children love learning about this entertaining chapter of local history!
Children love learning about this entertaining chapter of local history!
My 45-minute presentation includes photographs and behind-the-scenes stories about Norumbega's early days, and a discussion of the forms of entertainment, transportation and social norms that were typical in those bygone times. This is some of the feedback I've received: Thank you so much for sharing your work with our students. They loved the presentation. All of the students have been asking where they can get a copy of The Magic of Norumbega! :) Nicole Coughlin 3rd Grade Cabot School 229 Cabot Street Newton, MA 02460 [email protected] We loved having you and we can't wait to finish the book! I wish I had known about it sooner… it is such a great read aloud. It's adventurous and holds their attention. I look forward to having you back next year! Nicola Sellitto [email protected] Third graders were spellbound by stories of Newton's past, and laws, and many wish Norumbega still existed today. Thank you, Ms. Kutner for your stories!
